هذا القرش عمره 392 عامًا بالتقريب

عثر عليه علماء البحار في المحيط المتجمَّد الشمالي، قالوا انه يتجوَّل عبر المحيطات منذ عام 1627م.

⁣ملاحظة: عمر القرش يتراوح بين 200 سنة وقد يعيش القرش الاخضر نحو 500 عام.

حيث يقول الباحث⁣جوليوس نيلسن انهم عند دراستهم لبعض اسماك القرش عثروا على قروش اعمارهم بين 272 الى 512 سنة لحد الان
يقول جوليوس نيلسن انهم يستعملون تقية carbon dating
باخذ عينات من بروتيين العين وبعدها يقومون بتقنية تقينة radio carbon dating التي تسمح لهم بتحديد الاقدمية بمجال قريب جدا 95بالمئة دقة
